Rich Pruett
Director of Performance

Rich Pruett first came to Exos serving as a performance intern in 2012 for the Gulf Breeze, Florida location. In 2023, Rich joined the Exos team full time as the Director of Performance for the Phoenix, Arizona location. Between his time as an intern and performance director, Rich served as the Director of Sports Performance for University of North Georgia Athletics from 2012-2023, in Dahlonega, Georgia. Throughout his tenure in sports performance he has supported the development of individuals and teams within the military, youth, collegiate, and professional athletic realms.

Rich earned a doctorate in leadership and higher education in 2022 and a masters of exercise science in 2015 from the University of North Georgia. He also holds a bachelors in exercise science from Georgia State University. During his down time, Rich enjoys adventures in the Arizona mountains with his family.

Chris Messina
Performance Specialist

Chris Messina joined Exos as a performance specialist in 2024. Before coming to Exos, he spent nearly a decade working across the professional baseball landscape, including three seasons as an Assistant Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach. His experience spans athlete development, performance enhancement, and long-term player support at the highest levels of the game.

Chris holds a master’s degree in applied health physiology from Salisbury University and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from SUNY Fredonia.

Nicholas Hill
Performance Specialist
Nicholas Hill started at Exos in 2016 as an intern before taking a full-time performance specialist position with the company. He played football at a junior college before earning a full ride to Eastern New Mexico University. After two years in New Mexico and experiencing some injuries, he fell in love with coaching.
Pauline Pompei
Performance Specialist

Pauline joined Exos in 2022, first as a part-time coach supporting high school, collegiate, and NBA off-season programs before stepping into a full-time performance specialist role. She has worked with a wide range of clients, including youth and professional athletes, weekend warriors, and the pre- and post-natal community. In 2024, she served as an assistant speed and strength coach in the NFL Combine Prep program.

Her coaching philosophy is rooted in building strong, trusting relationships and applying evidence-based principles to help athletes and clients reach their goals and full performance potential.

Jaime Rodriguez
Performance Specialist
In 2021, Jaime came to Exos serving as one of our pro elite performance specialists for the Phoenix, Arizona location. Prior to Exos, Jaime was the performance director with professional NHL teams. Jaime brings nearly 20 years of Performance experience having worked with NHL, NBA, NFL, military and collegiate athletes. Jaime earned a Masters of Science in Applied Sports Science Analytics in 2022, and a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Lasell University.

ABIGAIL PELLETT PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Performance Physical Therapist
Abigail completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin where she also completed her B.S. in Psychology and participated as a 4 year letterman for Carroll University’s Women’s Tennis Team. After graduate school, Abigail completed an APTA accredited Sports Residency in Greenville, SC through ATI Physical Therapy and Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. Abigail has experience working in the athletic training room and on the sideline for North Greenville University Football, Greenville High School sporting events, The United States Tennis Association, and community adult/youth recreational sports. Through Exos, Abigail has also gained experience working with tactical athletes including military personnel, police officers, and fire fighters, as well as professional athletes in all sports. Abigail is a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist (SCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She holds additional certifications in Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Crossfit Level 1 (CF-L1), and Applied Performance Coach Certified Level 1 (APC). Abigail has completed additional continuing education in Postural Restoration, Spinal Manipulation, Functional Range Conditioning, and Blood Flow Restriction. Abigail enjoys helping athletes at all levels of training and appreciates the collaboration between strength and conditioning, nutrition, and physical therapy to return athletes back to sport.
FRANCO LOZA
Performance Physical Therapist

Franco Loza is a physical therapist at Exos and a Marine Corps veteran with more than 10 years of experience in high-level performance settings. During his military career he served around the world, earned two meritorious promotions, and received the Navy and Marine Corps Association Leadership Award. Franco completed his master’s degree in kinesiology at Point Loma Nazarene University with a focus on human performance, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Prior to joining Exos, he worked with UC San Diego, USC, and Exos as a performance coach, and volunteered his time with Miami Athletics and Miami FC. Franco is passionate about helping athletes return to play through a blend of physical therapy, strength and conditioning principles, and sport science. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and swimming in the ocean.

BRADY KURTZ, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, CF-L3
Performance Physical Therapist

Brady is a physical therapist at Exos who is passionate about helping sport and fitness athletes feel, move, and perform at their best. He specializes in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance, with a focus on helping athletes return to play stronger and more resilient.

He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology from Kansas State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Brady is a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer (CCFT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and Certified Management of the Fitness Athlete Specialist (CMFA). He also holds advanced certifications in dry needling, neurodynamics, and spinal manipulation.

NAVEED SHAN, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS
Performance Physical Therapist

Naveed Shan is the Physical Therapy Manager at Exos Phoenix. He began his Exos journey in 2023 as a part-time performance physical therapist before stepping into the leadership role in 2025. A Phoenix native, Naveed earned degrees in psychology and exercise science from Arizona State University and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University in 2018.

Naveed is dual board-certified in sports and orthopedics and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Before Exos, he worked as a performance coach for eight years with a focus on combat sports and later developed Phoenix’s first emergency department physical therapy program. He brings a blend of performance, sports medicine, and rehabilitation expertise grounded in individualized care and a philosophy of service, growth, and connection. Naveed is also active in global medical missions across Mexico, Lebanon, and Central America. In his free time, you can find him on a jiu-jitsu mat, on a trail, in a yoga studio, or reading to his two dachshunds.

Ariah Fish
Performance Dietitian
Ariah Fish joined Exos in 2021 as a performance dietitian. In her role Ariah provides nutrition counseling to everyone from NHL, MLB, and NFL players to collegiate athletes and high-performing adults. Outside of work she enjoys lifting and exploring Phoenix. Ariah received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from University of Delaware, and she’s currently pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science from Concordia University.
